Freezing Your Membership

Freeze Policies:
From time to time, members may need to place their membership on hold (or "freeze") due to illness, extended vacation or similar personal issues.

 

  • We are happy to accommodate up to 3 months' freeze per calendar year.
  • Each freeze is offered for a minimum duration of 1 month to a maximum duration of 3 months.
  • We do not offer indefinite freezes; freezes must have a defined start and end date.
  • Freezes can be applied to the entire account (default) or to specific members only.
  • Please be sure to submit all required information (see below), as we cannot process a freeze until we have all of this information, and we do not offer retroactive freezes.
  • Please allow us 3-5 business days from the time of your request to process and begin the freeze.

  • Name
  • Contact info
  • Member(s) to freeze
  • Freeze Start Date
  • Freeze End Date
  • Reasons for Freeze 

You Can Submit Your Request:

  • By emailing myaccount@paloaltojcc.org with the subject "Freeze Request."
  • By calling the Member Services office at (650) 223-8723.
  • By stopping by the Front Desk or Member Services office in person.
  • Please do not send any requests regarding your membership to ABC Fitness Solutions, LLC, as ABC will not receive them.

 


Cancelling Your Membership

Cancellation Policies:

 

  • 30 days' advance notice is required.
  • During the 30-day period from the cancellation request, the account will continue to be active; members are encouraged to use the facilities until their membership expires.
  • Cancel requests made while the account is frozen will result in the account reactivating for the final 30 days of membership.
  • The account will be billed for the final 30 days of membership, which may entail prorated dues in the final month.
  • Cancel requests will not be processed until all required information has been submitted (see below).
