Autumn Reset and Restore
Embrace the change of season with an afternoon of rejuvenating yoga with Josie and Jess.
- 1:30–3:30 PM | Session 1: Hatha Yoga XL
- 3:30–4:00 PM | Light Refreshments
- 4:00–6:00 PM | Session 2: Restorative with Yoga Nidra
Hatha XL gives you a chance to explore practices that the regular Hatha class time doesn't allow for, diving deeper into breath, sound and surrender.
Restorative with Yoga Nidra uses a multitude of soft props to support your practice for a deeply nourishing experience, culminating in Yoga Nidra the 'sleep' of the Yogis.
Josie Sykes is well into her second decade of teaching yoga. She has more than 1500 hours of training and remains a dedicated student. Currently teaching public and private classes in the Bay Area and online, she continues to teach anatomy and philosophy on 500-hour teacher trainings. Most of all, Josie loves to share what her very first class brought her; intelligent linking of breath, mind and body culminating in an immense feeling of ease and wellbeing.
Jessica Isler is a 15-year practitioner of yoga and received her yoga teacher certification from Ishta Yoga in New York City where she lived for almost two decades. Jessica sees yoga as an opportunity to slow down, tune out the busy-ness of the modern world and tune in to ourselves. In her classes, you will experience conscious movements with an emphasis on breathing and the full embodiment of each pose from the inside out. Her goal is to provide students with the opportunity, space and rest to explore and deepen the individual wisdom each one of us possesses.
